The figure on the right can be used to input your own values and calculate variance. Only sample variance is calculated for a maximum of ten values. It is rare to be working with an entire population of interest, so typically you will be calculating sample statistics, like sample variance, and not population parameters. For samples with more than ten values use Statlets or another software package to solve your problem.
