  Goals & Objectives
   
 

Penn State school psychology graduates will:

  • be firmly grounded in both psychology and education;
  • evaluate the quality of their work;
  • provide solutions for problems facing children and youth;
  • contribute to the practice and knowledge of psychology as it relates to education;
  • become leaders in the field;
  • be employed in the delivery of psychological and educational services, as managers of services, or as professors;
  • work collaboratively with other professionals;
  • be certified as school psychologists by state education agencies and licensable as psychologists by state boards of psychology.
